When I think of Craft Sportswear I think of leading design and fabrics. Craft specializes in technical apparel for running, biking, and skiing. They are at the forefront of moisture wicking technology as well as ventilation. Don’t believe me? Their performance baselayers can prove it.
Tuesday night wrapped up the last Fleet Feet Pub Run of the year. It was at The Brass Door downtown and was graciously co-hosted by Craft. If you live out of the area or have not heard of the series, it’s a 3 mile fun run once a month at various bars in the city. Fleet Feet puts it on to highlight different areas and cultures around Memphis. There are usually always vendors for demos, test runs, and ever-popular raffle prizes.
I’ve been on a winning streak these days (knock on wood) and was lucky enough to have my ticket called to recieve new baselayer. Just in time for the cooler weather! I have one from the previous season, but like sportsbras, they are a staple in my running drawer and I can never have to many good ones. With two I can rotate and do less laundry. Let’s face it, I’m going to end up needing a couple more. There are different types, but both of mine are “be active,” which I believe is on the lighter side. I wear them on training runs or under my singlet to keep me the perfect temperature during races.
They’re a little pricey, but it’s one of those things that you’ll have forever and can even wear under your normal clothes too for an extra layer. I’ve tried many others that I’ve collected in my backpacking and camping days, but Craft baselayers are by far the best for running.
Why I prefer Craft baselayers over other brands:
